In the summer holidays, many people at Park View pony club in Leicester passed their D + standard! This included walking, trotting, cantering, jumping, riding up a hill, riding down a hill and work without stirrups. Many of the ponies were more stubborn or younger than in the D, so that it was more hard work!

Everyone at Park View Riding School Pony Club Leicester who was qualified to take the test passed their D standard, including Rachel Hollis! The whole school was a buzz of nerves! All the ponies helped us out because most are an old hand at the job - most are all ready over 35!

Thanks, ponies!

Rachel Hollis

Rebecca Pastor aged 13 of the Four Burrow Pony Club with her pony "On the
Edge".

Edge came to us in February 2002.  They qualified for amoungst other things,
Traiblazers finals 3'3" round at Stoneleigh in Sept 2002, but were unable to
go due to Edge suffering a small, but annoying cut 2 days before.

A note to Rebecca,  and this I'm sure will ring a bell with all competitors
at whatever level - keep trying your best there's always another day/event!
